The material is two monofilament microfibers that are wound in a combined state. Synton is popular among Czech fly tiers because it is very thin, inconspicuous, and at the same time strong. Even the smallest flies can be tied with Synton. For very small flies, we can use this material to create fly bodies that are partially translucent after soaking.
