Wapsi Thin Skin

Wapsi Thin Skin is a thin, flexible, and slightly translucent material designed for creating realistic wing cases, shellbacks, backs, and segmented bodies on nymphs, scuds, stoneflies, and other fly patterns. Its durable construction cuts cleanly and conforms easily to a variety of shapes.

The translucent finish allows underlying thread and body colors to show through, adding depth and a natural appearance. Thin Skin can also be colored with markers to create custom shades and realistic patterns.

Ideal for wing cases, scud backs, stonefly bodies, nymph shells, and realistic fly patterns. A versatile and easy-to-use material for any fly-tying bench.
